Torres del Río is a town and municipality located in the province and autonomous community of Navarre, northern Spain. This town is located by the opposite Sansol. It is known for its Templar octagonal Romanesque church, formally related to those of Segovia (la Veracruz) and Eunate. The town was conquered from the Muslim occupation in 914 AD and belonged to the Monastery of Irache for several centuries before the citizens of the town bought the monastery out in the 14th century.) It is along The French Way (Spanish: Camino Francés) of the Camino de Santiago.
A nice albergue with small bedrooms,there is a well equipped kitchen and a dining /social area.The toilets and showers are in the courtyard to the rear and above them,upstairs,is a covered terrace.The place is very clean and the hospitalera is warm and friendly.
In november 2015 the Alberge Mariella was closed. But in 50meters before was opened Hostal Rural San Andres with list of paper on the door "Alberge Mariella". There was one room for about 18persons and cost EUR15,00. There is swimming pool. But there was not kitchen or dining area. On the second floor you can find restorant and bar with menu of pelegrinos.
Set on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route, on the French Route, Hostal Rural San Andrés offers an outdoor pool, a spa and a wellness centre with free access. Free WiFi is provided.
